How do I find a list of companies that I might plan on investing in?
I am completely new to this site so excuse my ignorance. All I want is a long list of companies with their various prices, maybe links showing 52 weeks highs and lows and all that.

This site has a good predefined screener. http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/finder/predefstocks.aspx They also have one of the best free deluxe screeners around. You have to get a free membership and sign in to excess it. The only drawn back is you have to use the Internet Explorer web browser. It's very similar to yahoo's deluxe screener. But, has more options.
