Yes it is, don't ask me why but the market does close on Good Friday.

you say Dont ask me why, but markets closed on Good Friday....I will tell you why... The Son of God chose to die a painful death for you and I many years ago so that our sins could be foregiven and we may live for eternity in Heaven....this is far more important than the markets or money etc on this planet.
