I've a lot of money invested in APWR. It's being going through the roof lately. Hold or sell?

A good rule of thumb I tend to use is if a stock is up significantly, I'll take my principle off the table and let the profits ride while maintaining a tight stop loss (this way they don't all evaporate in a day).

If you are a short term investor (trader), I think it's time to sell. The RSI has now turned down from overbought territory, and stochastics is just about to do the same. The stock could not hold up today and it looks like it's ready to fall back to the 200 day moving average, currently at 8.52.
If you are a long term investor, and you don't mind hanging on while the stock gives back some of the gain, then long term you may be happy. But personally, I would rather sell at 10.00 and buy it back at 8.
