I will recommend some good books for starters: William O'Neil, "How to Make Money in Stocks", Peter Lynch, "One up on Wall Street", Norman Fosback, "Stock Market Logic". And go to www.thetycoonreport.com and sign up for a free subscription (did I mention that I write for them?).

Good luck!
