Why do some of these penny stock symbols end with .PK or OB. For example AVVAA WORLD HLTHCR symbol is AVVH.PK.
Why do some of these penny stock symbols end with .PK or OB. For example AVVAA WORLD HLTHCR symbol is AVVH.PK.
Also, why do they start trading 10am Eastern time instead of 9.30am Eastern time? Thanks.

.PK stocks are Pink Sheet stocks which means that they have at least one market maker but no exchange. They are mostly very low priced stocks that are volatile and manipulated. Always use limit orders when trading .PK stocks.
.OB stocks are generally those that were traded on the NASDAQ exchange but became too low priced for the rules of the NASDAQ exchange. Generally these stocks are more liquid than .PK stocks and not as manipulated; but still use limit orders when trading.
