Is this stock going to be traded again on the market?
i see that GM has changed it's symbol and you cannot buy stocks right now in the company. Will we be able to in the near future?

The earlier discussion was they were planning on having an IPO sometime next year to start repaying the government. That is going to be based on how they do, and how the market is at that time. If the market is doing at least fair/good, I would think they will want to float out an IPO to use for the election. If it will look bad, then they will delay it. Although the government says that they are not in the car business, and will let GM run itself, look at what they have done so far, Changed the general manager, changed the CEO, changed the board of directors, and started decitating where to keep plants open(Barny Franks). So GM is independent as long as they follow the party line.

You should be able to in the future, but the old stock will probably be worthless.
