SPNG is planning a reverse split. Is it better to buy before or after the split.

Is it better to buy Spongetech (SPNG) before or after the planned reverse split in a couple of weeks

Hi, Myoki44,
Are you a seasoned speculator or a rookie investor? If you are a seasoned speculator, you have the resources and you know what to do.
If you’re a novice investor, then I like to share with you similar info that I gave to Riccodirt yesterday.
My perception, generally speaking, of buying a stock that has or will be reverse split is a bad idea. When a stock has to be reverse split, it’s a bad sign that something is going wrong. I’ve seen too many of our own purchased stocks reversed split, and most of them eventually go to zero. Take for example , Nortel, we still have them, believe it or not. ( I know, we should have observed our stop loss. )
Usually, after a reveres split, the adjusted stock price tends to go lower.
I don’t know much about Spongetech, but the graph does look interesting.

Hope the above helps.

Once again I am telling that reverse split does not increase your ultimate share value, it raises your share price in the same proportionate ratio. You people don’t need to think that your share is more worth able than as previous value due to reverse split. Generally reverse split event is passed to boost in the share market price & avoid delisting by increasing PE ratio. Thanks
