Weapon companies, such as ATK, a good investment?

As many powerful nations are now taking part in military operations which require high amounts of weaponary and ammunition, it occured to me that it would be a good idea to invest in companies such as ATK. Do you think this is a good idea? and Are there any other publicly traded weapon companies?

Look at the balance sheet. Does this company have alot of cash? How much debt? Where does it fall in relation to other weapons companies? That is the info you need to make the decision on if it is a good buy. Smith & Wesson is another weapons company (which I owned a long time ago).
