Except some jumps in the middle of September, S has been trading under the 50-day moving average in the last 3.1/2 months, it's a weak stock. A weak stock tend to stick with the lower side of the price trend, it was totally different when it was in the "good time" in the 3-month period from mid-Feb to mid-May (of 2009).

That's why there is common advise that is: Buy a strong stock, keep holding it until the situation is reverse - The price is crossing and go under the 50-day moving average. It's a very basic trading rule but semms to be very valuable
